This bell is a celebration of the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park. While controversial even to this day, it has proven to dramatically change and improve the balance of nature in the park. It has created an opportunity to witness not only the beauty of wolves but also the interplay and role of apex predators and large herbivores on the environment. The stand is made of steel, quartzite stone and Lexan glass. It is a reference to the geothermal activity of the Yellowstone basin. The bronze depicts the alpha wolf pair running and a moon shape for the bell.
