I tend to pick up interesting sticks wherever I go and I had picked up a bunch of chollah cactus skeleton when I was in Arizona. I was looking for an idea for the next nocturnal animal for my night light series and my friend Weston suggested a night lizard. They are common in Arizona but rarely seen as they only come out at night. We collaborated on this piece . I developed the idea and made the base and Weston made the lizard.
